ST Dupont celebrates its 140th year, by releasing a range inspired by a very special bespoke order in 1947.
ST Dupont, a brand that bore its first mark in Paris in 1872, continues to be admired for its timeless success. Throughout the years, Dupont establishes a perfect balance between meeting evolving clientele demands and maintaining its essence of classic luxury goods.
It began with trunks and travel cases especially tailored for royalty and celebrities of the late nineteenth century. As the years went on, Dupont developed the first pocket petrol lighter and in the late twentieth century, the first luxury-jewel pen.
Also in the twentieth century, American movie stars Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart became icons of the brand through the creation of special collections dedicated in their honor. Recently, Hepburn and Bogart remerged as brand images as Dupont presents its 2012 Limited Editions. The collections are a tribute to the “Audrey Hepburn Riviera Bag” and the “Humphrey Bogart Bogie Bag” of the 1950s.
