In 1952 S.T. Dupont used the “diamond head dècor” for the first time, an attractive combination of vertical and horizontal lines. The aesthetic pyramid shape of this elaborate dècor originally comes from luxury craftsmanship and has given rise to exclusive objects in the spirit of the times. The success story continues with this strong “Esprit” and in its latest limited edition, S.T. Dupont combines the diamond head pattern with real diamonds.
The Olympio Large Fountain Pen and Ligne 2 Lighter of this series is made of Au750 rhodium-plated white gold, giving the edition its unique shine. The fountain pen is adorned with 676 diamonds + one princess-cut diamond, GVS2 quality (totalling 7.4ct) and the Ligne 2 lighter is set with 1098 diamonds, GVS2 (12.1ct). They are hand-set using the traditional granular setting technique. The fountain pen features a hand-crafted 18K white gold nib.
