Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill, (1874-1965) was a British statesman who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945, during the Second World War, and again from 1951 to 1955.
Churchill was also an officer in the British Army and he is widely regarded as one of the great wartime leaders. He was a British citizen, but in 1963, Churchill was the first person to be honored by the United States Congress and President John F. Kennedy as an honorary American citizen of the United States.

The shape, colour and dimension of this elegant writing instrument refer to one of Churchill’s most beloved and well-known habits, a good cigar.
The fountain pen is crafted from Au750 pink gold, inlaid with black and brown (marbled) tortoiseshell lacquer bands. The cap top ring and the clip are decorated with 53 precious diamonds to commemorate the year when Churchill was both knighted and awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. The cap ring is encrusted with 48 diamonds of 1.0 mm (approx. 0.216ct) and the “V” of the clip is studded with 5 diamonds of 1.0 mm (approx. 0.022ct).
The great statesman’s legendary “V for Victory” sign is echoed in the design of the clip, the V- sign that now enjoys an almost legendary status. It also carries a seal with his initials (WSC).
The 18K gold Medium nib is engraved with Churchill’s portrait. The Montblanc star is of lustrous mother-of-pearl. The Limited Edition Fountain Pen comes with black lacquered presentation box, outer illustrated box.
