This Bohème “Soulmakers for 100 Years” was released in 2006, in a Limited Edition of 1906 pieces, to celebrate Montblanc’s 100th anniversary with its luxurious design and expert craftsmanship.
The “Soulmakers for 100 Years” includes many versions, ranging from this outstanding writing instruments, all the way through to Special Edition StarWalker.
As with the other 100th Anniversary Editions, a diamond with 43 facets cut in the form of the Montblanc signet is set in the transparent cap top of the Bohème 1906 Limited Edition pens. The barrel is crafted from a black and grey mosaic marbled resin, while the sterling silver cap is embellished with a striking guillochè pattern featuring the Montblanc star. The clip is complemented by an onyx gemstone.
The edition was made with incomparable attention to detail from the highest quality materials. Each product is adorned with a patents Montblanc-cut diamond, Top Wesselton (F-G) colour and VVS quality.
The fountain pen features a unique twist-mechanism that actuates nib retraction. The retractable 18K two-tone gold nib is adorned with 100 Years 2006 markings and the Montblanc Massif skyline as well. The fountain pen has a cartridge filling system. The cone of the pen is screw-on and can attach to the opposite end when in use.
