MONTBLANC America’s Signatures For Freedom Thomas Jefferson

This exclusive Montblanc Limited Edition from the series “America’s signatures for freedom”, is a homage to Thomas Jefferson, an American statesman, diplomat, lawyer, architect, philosopher and Founding father, who served as the third President of the United States from 1801 to 1809.

The Limited Edition Fountain Pen 50 is made of 18K white gold with petrified wood inlays. Based on 146 LeGrand size, the pen has an octagonal shape and the petrified wood is due to the President’s commitment to nature and his home.

The clip of the pen bears a mandarin garnet, approx. 0.5ct and is engraved with a portrait of Jefferson. The solid gold rings are decorated with engravings from Monticello, the primary plantation of Thomas Jefferson.

The Montblanc logo in mother-of-pearl is encircled with the name of the President and the period in which he presided (1801-1809). Medium 18K rhodium-plated gold nib is engraved with words “America’s Signatures for Freedom”. The writing instruments’ limitation number symbolises the 50 States in the USA.

The Thomas Jefferson Limited Edition 3 has the same octagonal shape and in distinction from the Limited Edition 50, the gold rings of the pen are set with 744 diamonds of 08 mm, (approx. 1.48ct). The other 8 diamonds which embellish the fountain pen are of 1,2 mm, approx. 0.056ct.

The Montblanc Thomas Jefferson Limited Edition Fountain Pen with a diamond on the cap top (6mm, approx. 0,8ct) is also available.
