Dedicated to the immortal spirit of sporting competition, this magnificent pen honors the athletes of classical Greece who participated in the games at Elis in 776 BC. The competitors are represented in low-relief matte engravings around the 18K gold barrel, and are set off by a crenellated band embellished with 0.42ct. Top Wesselton VVS diamonds w/brilliant cut. The depicted ancient athletes on the barrel – discus throwing, javelin and wrestling. The artistically fluted white Carrara marble cap is inspired by an antique column in white marble. Both cap’s ends are decorated with elegant white enamel Greek Keys. The cap top crowns the Montblanc star in mother-of-pearl. The medium 18K two-toned gold nib is engraved with the portrait of Zeus.
