S.T. Dupont is constantly looking for new talents and inspiration.
“2 saints” is a collaboration between George, a young French-American creator, and Fred Saint Romain – a French director who created Art & Design’s know-how 22 years ago and owner of the prestigious Entreprise du Patrimoine “is Vivant” label (Living Heritage Company).
Both met in New York through a deep and shared interest in the artistic universe of Vanities (European art movement from the Middle Ages to the 17th century), Rock & Rap music and Marvel superheroes.
Vanities, in their modern approach, continue to put people in mortal condition and uphold the idea of death as an inescapable result. Nevertheless, an ornamental dimension is associated with a dead object – the skull. The skull becomes an object that is found in art workshops for its “design”.
An inexhaustible source of inspiration, the cult of the dead seems to have transcended time and has become an indispensable accessory. In Mexico occurs artistic manifestations – people hold parades and parties, sing and dance and make offerings to lost loved ones.
S.T. Dupont presented Skull’s Prestige collection through 2 themes: Celtic and Cowboy.
