The Montblanc Great Characters Walt Disney Limited Edition 1901 is limited to 1901 pieces which refers to the year of Walt Disney’s birth. The groundbreaking multiplane camera invented by Disney is decipted on the cap in lacquer inlays with platinum-coated parts. On the barrel you will see an Mickey Mouse design with a flickering scanimation effect when rotated. Mickey Mouse appeared in Walt Disney’s first film “Steamboat Willie” in 1928. This film, which is also famous for its use of synchronised sound, inspired the smokestack shape of the platinum-coated clip. The fountain pen has a rhoidum-coated nib, made of Au750 solid gold. The nib is decorated with an engraving if the inconic Mickey Mouse.
