The Montblanc emblem at the top of the cap stores light and glows in the dark, just like the famous green light from Daisy’s dock in the novel. The clip on the pen, shaped like a money clip, is coated in platinum and decorated with Jay Gatsby’s initials in a gold Art Deco design. The bottom of the pen is shaped like the cap of a stylish old hip flask and includes rings in red, white, and blue — the colors of the American flag — as a nod to the American dream.
