Monopoly was created by Parker Brothers and launched on 5 November 1935. Since it’s debut, the world’s favourite board game has delivered magical memories to millions, and ways of wealth creation. Created under license to Hasbro, The Monopoly Limited Edition collection comprises two volumes: MONOPOLY: 85TH ANNIVERSARY and MONOPOLY: MR. MONOPOLY. Both share the same essential specifications: precious-metal sheathes around a resin core with gemstone detailing and a custom clip. All versions of Monopoly Limited edition Pens are delivered together with a private edition game board with sterling silver game tokens and gold toil graphics. A secret compartment beneath the board houses the Writing instrument, while play pieces can be safety stowed in a concealed travel compartment. Feel like a winner before the game has even started!
Each volume has a unique body deco and uses different resin colours in the sterling silver version (red for 85TH ANNIVERSARY; vintage mint for MR. MONOPOLY). Each volume of sterling silver editions are limited of 85 pieces in Fountain pen and Rollerball pen options. These editions feature zirconia, while 18k gold editions (8 Fountain pen and 5 Rollerball pen for each volume) are encrusted with diamonds. The 85TH ANNIVERSARY volume contains additional gemstone detailing on its barrel. Fountain pens are piston-fill, and fitted with 18k gold nib-customised for each volume: 85TH ANNIVERSARY fountain pens are etched with the MONOPOLY dollar symbol, while the MR. MONOPOLY edition features its ascot’s top hat and moustache.
