Montegrappa Limited Edition Venus De Milo

An exclusive new limited edition commemorates 200 years since the discovery of one the world’s great cultural treasures.  Attributed to the Greek sculptor Alexander of Antioch, dated around 130 B.C., the Venus statue was found in 1820 by a farmer on the Milos island, purchased by the French ambassador and donated to King Louis XVIII. Since then it has been on display in the Louvre museum. The pen is made with Italian marble powder, dried and hardened in special moulds obtained with 3D modelling, to capture every nuance of the original in high-resolution. Baroque and Greek ornamentations evoke the spectacular setting of her opulent Louvre salon.  Nothing but the best for a masterpiece: Montegrappa’s state-of-the- art piston-fill system is used to supply a personalised 6mm 18K gold nib inscribed with the figure of Venus. One design made in two luxurious qualities: trims may be selected in either museum-grade bronze or 18K yellow gold.
