Both pieces are made of Chinese Lacquer with Palladium accents. The Paris Saint-Germain Emblem is on both the pen and lighter. The fountain pen fills via cartridge convertor and features a 14K Medium gold nib.
S.T. Dupont uses natural Chinese lacquer hand gathered in Tonkin and then blended together like wine. It has a sheen and depth that no synthetic varnish can equal. It is exceptionally hard-wearing and highly resistant to knocks, scuffs and scratches, as well as to heat. All S.T. Dupont Chinese lacquer writing instruments and lighters are stamped with a logo representing a stylized lacquer tree leaf, to authenticate and highlight the exceptional character of this unique material.
S.T.Dupont imagined Ligne D as a masculine and traditional line with generous and established proportions. The curved and harmonious form of the cap combines with the smooth lines of the barrel to provide a simple, timeless elegance.
