Genuine Black Alligator leather all over the surface of the lighter. Each product is numbered individually.
The alligator skin is part of the “exotic skin” category, such as ostrich, snake, shark and other reptiles skins.
Alligator skin requires necessarily a manual cut to respect the geometry of scales. The work requires a very specific know-how which only few leather craftsmen possess.
Alligator is a species protected by the convention of Washington, CITES which allows to trail the skin from the livestock farming to the final client. This document is required by all customs services when travelling with an alligator skin product.

The S.T. Dupont “Alligator Havane” from Premium Collection is covered with the most precious leather: genuine matte Havana brown alligator, which is sensual and soft. The palladium cap is meticulously engraved with crocodile scales and illuminates the pen thanks to a reflection of the light.
The S.T.Dupont logo is engraved on the top of the cap.The fountain pen’s nib is handmade in 18-carat solid gold.
