S.T. DUPONT Haute Creation / Napoléon Exclusive Collection

The French military and political leader, Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) – an independent man, visionary and military general who became the first emperor of France in 1804. His quest for military expansion changed the world.

He is one of the most famous leaders in Western history; caused a revolution in the military organization and training, sponsored by the Napoleonic Code, building the foundations of the European legal system, reorganizing education and establishing a long-term concordat with the papacy.

Princess Eugenie, wife of his descendant Napoleon III, and ST Dupont’s first client acquired the very first briefcase in 1872 and marked it as the start of S.T. Dupont’s legacy.

The eagle was a symbol of the Roman Empire and associated with military victory, linking Napoleon to the great rulers of the past.

The S.T. Dupont and Tournaire jeweller pay tribute to the legendary Napoléon Bonaparte with a unique collection of writing instruments and handmade lighters with the Emperor’s profile and symbols inspired by the Imperial emblem: the Eagle.
