S.T. Dupont celebrates the return to the big screen of the most famous secret agent, James Bond with a new collection that embodies elegance, refinement and cutting-edge technical innovation of the highest order.
After the success of the 2004 James Bond, and 2006 Casino Royale collections, 007 once again joins forces with the brand world famous for its legendary “cling” lighters and impeccably refined writing instruments.
The new James Bond Spectre 007 edition is inspired by James Bond’s latest movie titled “Spectre”, which is the twenty-fourth James Bond film. The Limited collection was made in France and introduced in the year 2015 celebrating the new James Bond movie.
S.T. Dupont released a two-part collection of luxury pens, lighters and a cigar cutter that feature design elements inspired by the iconic secret agent franchise.
The first part of the Limited Edition is called the “Spectre” Premium Collection, and the highlight of the bundle is a Ligne 2 Lighter. The Collection is available in two finishes: palladium and black (PVD) with a satin guilloché. Both versions are emblazoned with the Spectre and 007 logos.
The Spectre Premium Collection
Spectre is actually a reference to a crime syndicate, Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, terrorism, revenge and extortion, and S.T. Dupont is paying tribute to its first onscreen appearance in “The Spy Who Loved Me”, by limiting the pieces to 1,963 units, the year the film came out.
The Spectre Premium Lighter, with its design based on the famous Ligne 2 model, is a monolithic metal with a delicate guilloché surface and a finish between matt and polished – wavering between light and shadow. The spiral pattern disclosed in acronyms opening movie is shown on the lighter and ends in the bullet hole to mimic the famous gun-barrel sequence that kicks off most Bond thrillers.
The collection also boasts a series of pens based off of S.T. Dupont’s Ligne D writing tool, constructed with a guilloché metal body and swirled, gun-barrel design. It’s adorned with the same Spectre and 007 logos as the Premium Collection lighter and is also available in the same palladium and black finishes.The Secret compartment unscrews from base of the pen barrel and are presented in a luxury black lacquered gift box.
The writing instruments are available in a Fountain Pen, Rollerball and Ballpoint Pen. In keeping with the secret agent theme, the “Spectre Premium Collection” lighters and pens have been modified with a hidden compartment for transporting covert communications.
The collection is also available as a set.
The Spectre Access Collection
The second part of the Spectre Limited Edition collection is called the Spectre Access Collection. It features a chrome, torch-flame lighter in both MaxiJet and MiniJet formats. The cigar cutter is comprised of soft lines, finished in chrome.
The Access Ballpoint Pen designed around the Défi model is decorated with a guilloché swirl, which is available in the same black and palladium finishes. It is available in a black and palladium version and is engraved with 007 and Spectre logos.
