True to Texas’ undeniable pride and individualism, this pen’s production was limited to only 10 pieces, thus making it one of the rarest of the skeleton pens. The design of the Texas Skeleton Limited Edition Pen was originally crafted as a gift for President George W. Bush (a fact that easily apart in the pen’s construction) -but he was not able to accept it due to the government regulations, that limit presidential gifts with a value of over $10,000.
The barrel is made of transparent resin overlaid with interlacing 18K white gold filigree. The cap features the Texas state flag forming the shape of the state, decorated with 110 sapphires, 116 rubies and 108 diamonds. The Medium 18K white gold nib is rhodium-plated.
