The Montblanc Flag Pen Edition writing instruments are among the rarest Skeleton Editions ever produced by the Artisan Shop (Ateliers Prives).
The basic design comes from the Skeleton Star, but the 15 writing instruments are made from 18K solid gold. The diamonds, rubies and emeralds symbolise the Mexican flag.

The Montblanc Mexico Flag Skeleton features the 18K gold nib and is in an extremely Limited Edition of only 15 pieces for the entire world. The Fountain Pen symbolising the Mexican flag emblem is adorned in hand-set brilliant cut gems.
There are 72 diamonds (.32ct) for the white colour, 104 emeralds (.33ct) for the green colour, and 104 rubies(.45ct) for the red colour. The top of the cap features the famous Montblanc star emblem in mother-of-pearl.
