This Limited Edition was launched for the opening of the Montblanc Boutique in Hong Kong in December 2003. The design largely corresponds to the “I love NY”.
The Limited Edition Fountain Pen from the Artisan collection is on a base of 149. The 18K white gold-coating is designed in tribute to Hong Kong. The skeleton design is applied over a translucent service to reveal the interior of this fine pen. The phrase “I Love Hong Kong” is inscribed on the cap, set with diamonds and rubies: 288 diamonds of approximately 0.90-carats and 26 rubies of 0.09-carats in total. The Montblanc star in mother of pearl crowns the cap top. The Medium 18K gold nib is engraved with the “bauhinia” – the symbolic flower of the city. The pen has a piston filling system. The Limited Edition Fountain Pen was sold exclusively in Asia.
