The new Pharaoh Limited Edition series from S.T. Dupont resembles recently excavated artifacts from the tomb of King Tut. They are a tribute to the great Nile civilization of old and the latest design to the world theme lines from S.T. Dupont. As a tribute to the legends, the gods, and the enchantment of this civilization, S.T. Dupont has created a magical limited edition, faithfully reproducing the Egyptian codes of the god Horus, symbolized by a crowned falcon, and Isis and Nephtys around the holy scarab.

Pharaoh is the name of the kings of ancient Egypt. In fact, this name has only been in official use since the New Kingdom, especially the 18th Dynasty, but has become more common for the ancient Egyptian kings. In Egypt, the Pharaohs were the embodiment of supreme power on earth. They are known for their wealth, power and mysterious lives.

Egyptian history is an endless source of inspiration for works of art. People of different race or culture can’t help being attracted and enchanted by the pyramids, inside with treasures. And the hieroglyphic lines, although deciphered, are still full of mysteries. Ancient Egypt was also known as the Land of the Pharaohs. This is also the inspiration for the creation of the S.T. Dupont to have created a unique model – Pharaoh Limited Edition.

Phraoh Limited Edition

Following the great success of the Gold version of 2004, after 10 years, S.T. Dupont decided to re-release the Pharaoh model created with platinum coating to show the elegant and luxurious style. A version full of mystical magic, sketching the mysterious hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt.

The carvings on the body and cornices of the pen and Lighter depict the myth of Egyptian images. Each of them has its own meaning:

Ankh – an Egyptian hieroglyph that means “life” – Only Pharaohs, Queens and Gods were allowed to wear this symbol. It is believed to bring strength to its owner. Besides, it can also give or take life from others.

Eye of Horus – Symbol of wisdom and protection of health. Shaped like the eyes of a falcon, this symbol is also called the eye of Ra.

The back is engraved with the motifs: Feather of Maat and dung beetle. Maat – Ancent Egyptian Goddess of truth, justice, law and order, who directs the stars, seasons, sunrises and sunsets, and feathers symbolize justice and morality. The dung beetle was a symbol of strength, creativity, and transformation in ancient Egyptian culture. The ancient Egyptians believed that flying “scarabs” evoke the sun, protecting it from evil.

There are also engravings such as: Hook and Scissors: Symbol of power and great vigor of the Royal Family.

The “New” Edition Pen was based on the Néo-Classique range, and both the lighter and pen are plated in palladium with lapis lazuli Chinese lacquer inlay.
