Dupont brings the spirit of the adventurous sailor to life with an exceptional collection that every sailor wants to own. Inspired by the beauty of marine architecture, the Limited Edition “Seven Seas” features refined palladium details, reminiscent of portholes and ropes of a sailing ship, and finished with a natural lacquer with a wood grain look.
The collection also pays tribute to the early days of the Maison S.T. Dupont, when master artisans created exquisite trunks and travel cases, often monogrammed, for the world’s elite who travelled by boats and ships.
In tribute to adventurers on the seven seas and the boats transporting them, S.T. Dupont’s Seven Seas Collection takes inspiration from the teak woods found on runabouts and yacht tenders. However, rather than make everything from teak wood, S.T. Dupont developed a special lacquer that allows for digital printing to create a wood-like texture. The collection exemplifies the exquisite lacquering and goldsmith know-how of S.T. Dupont, with this teak wood inspired design, and unique design.
The writing kit consists of a fountain pen & roller bloc with a cutter paper, presented on a sailboat wood effect natural lacquer. Palladium, stainless steel base in oak wood, and packaging with teak. veneer.
The pen in néo-classique style has a functional miniature compass in a porthole on top of the pen.
The smoking kit consists of a Ligne 2 Lighter with a Cigar punch, presented on a motor yatch. Wood effet natural lacquer. Palladium, base in oak wood, and packaging with teak veneer. The lighter features an awesome working compass, too.
