S.T. Dupon Murder On The Orient Express Limited Edition is dedicated to the film “Murder on the Orient Express” – a new adaptation of the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie.

Murder on the Orient Express, based on the classic 1934 detective novel – an enjoyable detective story has been transformed into a magnanimous breath taking movie. Just before midnight, the Orient Express is stopped in its tracks by a heavy snow drift and by morning one of its passengers is found brutally stabbed to death in their cabin. Untrodden snow outside the carriage indicates that the murderer is on board the train, and it is up to famous detective Hercule Poirot to solve the mystery before the killer decides to strike again… Fascinating movie, Murder on the Orient Express ultimately lives up to its legacy as stellar, hard to solve crime fiction. It is suitably addicted to the intellectual stimulation and the twists and turns of a brilliant mind.

This limited edition is a symbolic representation of the cabin of Princess Dragomiroff and the S.T.Dupont trunk case used by her in the movie. The trunk case is transformed into an exceptional lighter and writing instrument signifying the 145 years of know-how of Maison S.T. Dupont. The creations are beautifully placed in a theatrical pack showcasing the cabin of the princess.

Princess Natalia Dragomiroff, one of Agatha Christie’s characters in “The Murder on the Orient Express” (her role was played by Judi Dench), should have her luggage made by S. T. Dupont for the Branagh film released in 2017. After all she was a wealthy Russian aristocrat who lived in Paris, where S. T. Dupont’s original Maison was. The trunk made for the film was based on an historic period correct design from their archives.

All products are made of brass with yellow gold finishes and are covered with natural Chinese varnish of brown color.

Six items for collectors of either S.T. Dupont and Christie, have been created to celebrate Christie’s novel and the film. All of the collectibles were designed to convey the sense of style and luxury associated with the Orient Express, but also to tie in the novel by Christie.
