- Fashioned from bronze with yellow gold finish, sublimed with Lapis Lazuli, a Labradorite cabochon and Obsidian base.
The Peruvian Luis Alberto Quispe represents the second generation of a family of gemstone carvers, an art that dates back to the pre-Babylonian period. The boldness of his designs, the quality of the gemstones that he uses and his technique influenced by the refinement of jewelry-making are expressed superbly in his impressive work.
The peacock is a possessor of some of the most admired human characteristics, and is a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colors.
In collaboration with master stone carver, Luis Alberto, L’Aquart and Maison S.T. Dupont have created the magnanimous collections with hand carving the Peacock.
One of the more intricate pieces in the S.T.Dupont booth, the Peacock lighter is bronze with gold plating and nine Lapis Lazuli Cabochons. The base is made of Labrodite Cabochon and the tail is gold plated with 43 Lapis Lazuli Cabochons.
