INSPIRATION
Cuba’s architecture – rather like its music – is an eclectic mixture that over time has assimilated various outside influences to create strikingly unique cityscapes which can still be seen today.
Spanning four centuries, these palaces, mansions, churches, castles, and more simple structures catalog a progression of styles. The academic classicism of aristocratic 18th-century Spanish homes blends with 19th-century French rococo, while art deco and art nouveau exteriors from the 1920s fuse into the cool, columned arcades of ancient palaces in Mudejar style.
In honor to the freedom of Cuba, S.T. Dupont pays homage to the rich heritage and history of this colorful country by handcrafting an exclusive range of writing instruments and lighters with well-known and renowned jeweler Tournaire.
