MONTBLANC Annual Edition 2004

Columbine – femininity as personified by the Commedia dell’ Arte: Europa riding the Bull – one of the dramatic icons of Greek mythology; the flying dragon – perhaps the most fascinating creature in Asian culture. Using these new images, Montblanc continues the Annual Edition that is first issued in 2003.

The three fountain pens in the Special Theme Edition Annual Edition 2004 form the second part of a series of exquisite pens that are available for a maximum of one year. Images painted by master craftsmen on the caps, which are made of the finest Meissen porcelain, illustrate enchantingly the Venetian carnival, ancient mythology and the realm of fabled creatures. The crossed blue swords on the cap symbolise the manufacture of world-renowned Meissen porcelain. The pens in the Annual Edition 2004, issued only for one year, are given a touch of supreme craftsmanship by the gold-plated barrel with its guilloche, the year of the edition on the cap and the 18-carat gold nib.
