INSPIRATION

ROBERT WAN for the 40 years of his production company of Tahitian pearls, TAHITI PERLES, has launched a partnership with S.T. Dupont, itself celebrating its 140 years of prestigious creations, and craftsman jeweler from Place Vendôme, Philippe Tournaire.
From this trilogy of rare expertise were born 3 extraordinary art pieces, dedicated to the Tahitian pearl and its producer Robert Wan.

Based on the Neo-Classic President Pen and Ligne 2 Lighter, this “King of Pearl” Exclusive collection finds its inspiration and power through the symbols of the sea.

Resting on a shell and mother-of-pearl base, the “King of Pearl” pen and lighter respectively wear an impressive Poseidon crown in gold. A 15mm Tahitian black pearl of exceptional quality thrones at the very top of the crown. To add a touch of femininity and mystery, a siren finely carved in gold nestles beneath the crown of the King of Pearl pen.

To complete this extraordinary collection, S.T. Dupont has also launched a limited and numbered Prestige collection. It consists of a lighter and writing instruments.

ROBERT WAN

Robert Wan has consistently produced the world’s most exquisite Tahitian pearls for more than 30 years.
He operates his pearl farms at several remote and idyllic islands located in French Polynesia.

Mr Wan is extremely proud of his French nationality and gains inspiration from his Chinese origins; but French Polynesia remains his love and his home. His relentless passion for innovation, quality and excellence has led to him being widely regarded as ‘The Pearl Emperor of Tahiti’.

The accreditation of the Tahitian cultured pearl by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has assured the Tahitian cultured pearl its rightful place in the world of international jewelry, by officially recognizing it as a fully-fledged gem.

For more than 40 years, Robert Wan has produced the highest quality Tahitian black pearls in lagoons that can be counted amongst the purest and cleanest in the world.

Mr Wan believes these pearls to be the symbol of harmony between man and nature, and an inspiration to the emerging values of the 21st century.
